Origin Sliding Doors are the ideal solution for homeowners who aspire to creating an uninterrupted flow between their home and garden.

Origin’s OS-29 Sliding Doors have a slim aluminium interlock sightline of just 29mm, which ensures that when looking through your doors, you will see more glass and less of the frame. We can install sliding doors up to 11 metres wide, allowing you to make the most of the view outside.

Aluminium is the perfect material for manufacturing doors as it is a strong, lightweight material. It also requires little maintenance to keep it looking good, just a wipe down with hot soapy water to ensure it stays clean and ensuring that the track remains free from any dust and stones.

Aluminium Sliding Patio Doors are an extremely versatile door system. Depending on the overall width of your opening, you have the freedom to decide how many door sashes you would prefer and you can also decide which of the doors should open and in which direction.

Sliding Doors glide along their own tracks from left to right or right to left, without taking up any space on the inside or outside of your home. They are suitable for both new build homes and refurbishment projects. If you are laying new flooring or a new patio at the same time as your new Patio Door is being installed, we can recommend the concealed threshold which creates a flush finish between the inside and outside of your home.

Sliding Door Colours Available

Sliding Doors are available in a wide range of RAL colours, including Light Grey, Slate Grey, Anthracite Grey, Dark Grey, Black and White, although you can choose from a wide range of RAL colours in either a matt or gloss finish.

Depending on the overall width of your opening, it is possible to choose doors up to 2.6 metres high, creating floor to ceiling glazing allowing you to enjoy an uninterrupted view of your garden and beyond.

When it comes to deciding which doors will slide and which will remain fixed, there is plenty of flexibility in the design. Origin Aluminium Sliding Doors can be designed so that each of the door sashes can slide from left to right, giving you the freedom to change the layout of your room without obstructing the movement of walking in and out of your glass doors into your garden.

If you choose a three pane Sliding Door with a triple track, this will allow you the flexibility to slide all three doors opening up 2/3rds of the aperture at any given time.

With a four pane Sliding Door, the two outer panes can be fixed whilst the two middle sashes can slide, one to the right and one to the left to create a wide opening in the centre.

Sliding Door Security and Hardware

Each door is equipped with an ultra-secure multi-point locking system, with 6 points of locking, including 4 hook keeps and 2 additional shootbolts, to ensure the doors meet PAS 24 security levels.

As standard, Origin Sliding Doors are fitted with a locking D-handle which is available in a choice of four finishes; Stainless Steel, White, Black or Anthracite Grey. If you prefer, you can choose a 500mm long offset handle in a Stainless Steel finish.

Energy Efficiency

When it comes to energy efficiency, Origin Aluminium Sliding Doors achieve a low U Value of 1.4 W/m²K to help keep your home warm and your energy bills low.
