Flat Roof Lights are a perfect solution for allowing natural daylight into a room. They look fabulous both in large open plan spaces where they perfectly complement wide, tall Sliding and Bifold Doors and in smaller kitchens or dining areas without glass doors, the Flat Roof Light ensures the room is filled with light.

To ensure that your room remains at a comfortable temperature to use all year round, our Flat Roof Lights are fitted with thermally efficient, high performance glass. All Roof Lights are fitted with clear toughened double glazing and should it ever break, it would shatter into tiny pieces, rather than sharp shards of glass. If you would prefer Solar Glass or glass with a blue or bronze tint, please let us know and our installation team will talk you through each of the options available.

Most homeowners tend to choose a white finish on the inside and either White, Black or Grey on the outside, depending on the colour of the windows and doors throughout the rest of the property.

The differences between Flat Roof Lights and Lantern Roofs

Roof Lights are flat and discreet and are perfect for allowing light into a room above a specific area, such as a dining area, seating area or a kitchen workspace. We are often asked to install Roof Lights in attic bedrooms or loft spaces where there is a flat dormer roof.

A Lantern Roof can be made in larger sizes than a Flat Roof Light, so is perfect for bigger areas. As a Roof Lantern is made up of glass at different angles, the light is thrown further into a room creating a wider area of natural light.
